New Service

Property owners must complete an application for each meter. Applicants must sign our “Water Users Agreement” and provide a copy of their warranty deed or lease agreement, as well as a valid identification such as a driver’s license. Additionally, all relevant fees and deposits must be paid at the time of application. Please visit Rates & Fees for further information.

Billing Policy

  1. Billing Cycle: Bills are either mailed or emailed during the first week of each month.
  2. Due Date: Payment for the bill is expected by the 15th of each month.
  3. Late Fee: If the balance is not paid by the 15th, a late fee of 10% will be added to the outstanding balance.
  4. Past Due Balances: Any balance remaining unpaid after the due date is considered past due. A lock will be placed on the water meter, and services will be disconnected.
  5. Consequences of Past Due Balances: Past due balances are not carried forward to the next billing cycle as a means of extending the payment period. Past due balances must be paid immediately to avoid service disconnection.

In-Person
Visit North Hinds Water Association at 1094 Pocahontas Rd, Flora, MS 39071 during normal business hours. Monday-Friday 8:oo a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Drop Box
Place payments in the 24-hour drop box positioned on the left side as you enter our office parking lot. Any payments submitted after regular office hours will be processed on the following business day. Payments deposited into the box are retrieved once daily at 8:00 a.m. and promptly posted on the same day.

Bank Draft
Enroll in our automatic payment service using your checking or savings account. With this service, you’ll still receive your monthly bill, but the amount due will be automatically deducted from your designated checking or savings account on the first day of each month. This option comes with no additional charges or fees. To enroll in this service, contact our office at (601) 981-1657.
